7-step quality process

When you choose RSM People to fill a role, we begin a rigorous process to ensure you hire the most suitable candidate. We take care of everything possible so you can focus on running your business, facility or project.

Here’s what you can expect:

  1. Source potential candidates
    We search for potential candidates via our extensive database, local networks and electronic advertising. You can use printed advertising (and its associated extra costs) on request.
  2. Review applications & initial interviews
    We review all resumes and conduct initial phone interviews.
  3. In-depth interviews
    We conduct in-depth, face-to-face interviews using a variety of behavioural interview techniques.
  4. Shortlist
    We shortlist three candidates (can vary depending on the position).
  5. Skills testing
    If you require, we’ll undertake job-specific skills testing to validate a candidate’s abilities.
  6. Reference checks
    We conduct a minimum of two reference checks for each candidate, ensuring that we have a thorough understanding of each applicant and their work ethics.
  7. Supply candidate profiles
    We supply you with comprehensive candidate profiles so you can conduct your own interview.
